The story starts with a tribe hunting in the forest. Even today, this tribe lives a basic life using old practices and beliefs. They have set many traps in the forest. They know the location of each of these. A wild boar comes in contact of 1 of the traps. Many sharp pieces of wood fly towards him, impaling him to death. They all sit together to cut the boar and chit chat meanwhile. This is a very fun loving tribe. One of the tribals, jaguar paw , suddenly notices that there is someone behind him in the bushes. He stands there and asks what they want. Some other tribals emerge from the bushes. They offer the tribe 4 big fishes from their recent hunt . In return, they ask for the permission to let them cross the grounds peacefully . They also give them the piece of boar. This is an old rule. The next moment, a lot of tribal people come out of the bushes to cross the lands. Jaguar sees that a lot of them are injured. He asks the reason for it. One of them told that they were attacked, their tribe was destroyed and now, they are going to do a new start. Jaguar wants to ask more about the attack. Thus, he starts following them. But his father, who is the head of the tribe, stops him. Jaguar is worried, he knows something is wrong. They all return to their tribe. The atmosphere of their tribe is also very pleasant.
At night when jaguar was sleeping, jaguar wakes from the noise of barking dog. He feels as if something is wrong. He's also scared because of what happened with that tribe. Then we are shown a blood thirsty tribal standing outside. His group is hidden behind the trees . At their head's signal, the group comes out of the trees with flame torches. When jaguar spots the flames, he realizes that something is wrong. He wakes up his family then brings them outside . One of the attackers see them , but jaguar kills him. Jaguar takes his family to the well. He starts sending his son and pregnant wife into the well through the rope. While doing this, one of the attackers spot him . He starts running towards jaguar. Jaguar quickly leaves his kid and wife in the well, they even fell. But before the attacker could reach there, jaguar makes him fall with his foot. Before he could fall into the well, jaguar holds his foot. The man sees that his wife and child are in the well. But before he could tell anyone, jaguar kills him. He tells his wife and kid that he has to go to help his people. Even though his wife tells him not to go and tries to stop him, he promises her that he will return. After saying this, he leaves. Jaguar sees that most of his men have been captured , many are dead. There is a very dangerous tribal named middle eye. He attacks jaguar with his knife But before it could reach him, jaguar turns the knife into other direction. Now, their leader arrives. He captures jaguar. Although middle eye wants to kill jaguar here but the leader tells him not to. He says that he needs him. Jaguar's father is also a captive here. He apologises to his father. Middle eye listens this and he comes to know that he is jaguar's father. So he kills him infront of jaguar. After that he beats jaguar to unconsciousness. When he wakes up, he sees that all his tribe has been taken hostage. Jaguar looks towards the well where his pregnant wife and son are. Leader's son sees him looking there. He goes to the well and sees a rope going inside. He becomes suspicious. He looks inside but finds no one because jaguar's wife and son hide behind a rock in the well. He throws a very big rock inside but doesn't notice any motion. After that he cuts the attached rope. This means that jaguar's wife and son cannot come above now. Now they take all the captured tribals on a long journey with them. On their way, they meet the other tribe who had given them fish in the morning. Actually these blood thirsty tribals had captured them too. Now all of them proceed for a long journey where they have to cross rivers and high mountains. After this horrific journey they reach the tribe of these aboriginals. At the boundary of their tribe, they see a lot of dead bodies. The bodies make clear that these are the people suffering from some sort of disease which spreads from contact. Here is a little girl that tells these aboriginals that pure times are going to come very soon, The days will get dark, a man will take all of them away from their tribe which will be the end of their empire. They move forward. Here is a village full of labourers. Even though they are very sick, they have to work here. But they are not left here and taken ahead. Now, a man comes to the leader of the tribe. He asks how many men are there. He says that his son will tell this, but they need good money this time. This means they have captured and taken them here so that they could sell them. People are sold in this place. The captured women are auctioned and sold, but the men are taken ahead to a very crowded place. Actually they are sacrificing people here. Now jaguar is taken for the sacrifice. They actually are talking about making themgods happy. But before they could kill jaguar, solar eclipse occurs. it becomes dark everywhere. All of them stop and start praying. After the eclipse they are taken to another place. It's a long ground. There are bushes on the other side. All of them are told to run to their forests. Here, the son of the leader is also present. His son goes near the bushes and they are made to run 1 by 1. People throw different weapons on them from behind to kill them. Many of them die. Now its jaguar and its partner's turn. Jaguar's partner is shot dead by an arrow. Jaguar also gets impaled by an arrow but he is not dead yet. The leader comes here to kill jaguar. But before he could do so, an injured man makes him fall. The leader's son kills the man. Then takes out a knife and proceeds to kill jaguar. Jaguar had broken the tip of the arrow which impaled him. He slashes his throat with that arrow. Then runs in the bushes. Actually those tribals were killing jaguar and his tribe just for practice. Jaguar runs from there. He is injured too. He comes across a fallen tree going upwards . Jaguar climbs that tree. On the other hand, the leader's son is dead. It makes him furious. He now wants to end jaguar anyhow. They all starts searching for him. They cross the tree on who's top jaguar is sitting but couldn't see him. After going a bit further, the tribes leader sees blood on the shoulder of his partner which isn't his. He realises it is jaguar's blood who is above a tree. They all come back to find him. Jaguar spots the cub of a jaguar animal on top of the tree. The club's mother comes there. Jaguar paw starts running in the direction where the tribe went. They are also coming towards him. Now, jaguar is running at full speed. The animal jaguar is chasing him. Before it could attack jaguar, a tribal, who has come to kill him, comes inbetween them. The animal kills him. Jaguar escapes but the tribe is still following him. He comes across a dead end. There is a waterfall infront. Jumping from it might mean death. But as death is behind him too, he jumps. His fate complies and he reaches the shore . When he looks upwards, he sees that the leader and the tribe are watching him. Jaguar now calls for them because he has entered the forest where he used to hunt. He says that his grandfather used to hunt here, his father used to hunt here, he also hunts here and his children will also hunt here, if they have guts, then come. A man of the tribe says to the leader that they should not follow him and just return. Actually he also remembers the prophecy of that little girl who had said that they will die, a man will take them out of their forest and they will never return. The leader kills that man. After that these tribals jump one by one from above. One of them dies, but the rest come to the shore. Jaguar paw is running. But he falls in a swamp. He somehow escapes. His whole body is covered in mud. Suddenly, his whole mind becomes numb. He says that he is jaguar paw, the forest is his and no one can chase him away, he doesn't fear anyone. When the tribals come there, he uses different techniques to kill everyone. Firstly he sends bees behind them , then he kills 1 with frog's poison. At that moment , the man who had killed his father comes infront of him, that is middle eye. Jaguar sees a weapon lying there. Both of them run towards each other. When jaguar reaches the weapon, he drags onto his knees to reach the weapon. Middle eye misses from his attack. But jaguar doesn't miss, he kills middle eye. Then it starts raining, jaguar paw's wife and son are in a well. The well starts filling. Her wife also goes into labour. Jaguar runs to the well. His wife and son tell him to take them out. The remaining 3 tribals are still coming behind him. 2 of them stop on the well because they want to see who is in it. They see them inside. Now, the tribe's leader, who is the most dangerous, runs towards him. Jaguar stops while running. Actually he saw something. The leader reaches there. Jaguar killed his , now he shoots him with an arrow. It's hits him slightly above his heart. Jaguar is injured. He stands and challenges the leader. The leader throws out his bow and arrow, takes out his knife, then starts running towards jaguar. Suddenly, his foot hits something. Actually, there is a trap here. The trap which jaguar and his tribe used to lay for animals. The same way they killed a wild boar in the beginning. As soon as the trap hits his foot, very sharp wooden sticks impale him to death. Jaguar had to tun from here because the remaining 2 tribals are coming towards him. On the other hand it is shown that the well is filling gradually. In that well, his wife gives birth to a baby. Jaguar runs to the ocean. He starts looking towards it with surprise. The 2 tribals who want to kill him also reach here . But they don't kill him. They also start staring at the sea. In the sea, enormous ships are shown who are throwing anchors on the shore. People are coming towards this land in small small boats. Jaguar gets the chance. He runs to his family and saves them all. In the end we are shown that jaguar is in the forest with his family. His wife is watching huge ships from there. She asks jaguar if they should go there. Jaguar says that they should go in the forest so that they can do a new start. They start moving. Actually the people in these ships are Europeans. They have come to capture these islands. They have so many weapons that it is impossible for tribals to fight them. Actually , there used to be small small tribes in America. They used to fight among themselves. After that European invaders came here and captured them. This story is based on that success. This masterpiece was released in 2006.
